19855 Maple Road, Williamstown, Ontario, Canada, K0C 2J0
Be aware that Cell Phone Service in much of our area is not very good.
Once you reach our property, drive onto our staging field where we will be only too happy to greet you and get you set-up.
If you are coming from the USA, Quebec or Western Ontario, the first thing you have to do is get to the 401 (Trans Canada), which is Ontario’s main East/West Highway.
IF YOU’RE COMING FROM THE WEST OF CORNWALL ON THE 401:
Head towards the Exit that says BOUNDARY ROAD, just after Brookdale and McConnell Road.
Exit onto Boundary Road LEFT (North). This Road name will change from Boundary, to Johnson Road, to County Road 19.
Follow this Road all the way to the quaint village of Williamstown. Go through the village over the little bridge to a stop sign.
From the stop sign, continue straight for 5 kilometers (3.1 miles).
As a landmark, you’ll see a white square bungalow with a wrap-around balcony and a green roof. This bungalow is set on a hill, on Maple Road corner of the 19.
Turn RIGHT onto Maple Road (East) and travel 1.2 Kilometers (0.7 miles), where you will see our property on your Left hand Side (North).
IF YOU’RE COMING FROM THE EAST (Quebec) ON THE 401:
Go to the Village of Lancaster (Exit 814) just after the Truck Weigh-in Station, which is several miles West of the Quebec border.
The Lancaster Exit has a prominent Esso Gas Station and a MacDonald’s Restaurant on the South side of the 401, with a McEwen’s gas station on the North side of the 401.
What you want to do is exit at Lancaster to the North side (McEwen’s) of the 401, and drive through the little village of Lancaster (South to North).
From the Railroad Tracks crossing through Lancaster (you’re on County 34), proceed about 9 kilometers (about 5.5 miles) where you will see Maple Road.
As a landmark, because Maple can sort of sneak up on you, look for a yellow bungalow on the 34 and the corner of Maple on the Right Hand Side (East).
Maple T’s onto the 34, so you will be turning LEFT (West) onto Maple.
Once on Maple, drive 3.6 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) where you will find MAPLE PONDS EQUESTRIAN CENTER on your Right Hand Side (North).
If you miss Maple Road while traveling North on the 34, you will come to a flashing orange light where there is a small Esso Gas Bar on your Right Hand Side (East).
All the locals know this Gas Bar as The Brown House.
Turn LEFT at the Brown House (West), which will put you on County Road 18. This is a very picturesque road that will bring you past St Raphael’s Ruins on your Left Hand Side (South). You won’t miss it.
Drive 4.8 kilometers (3 miles) on County Road 18, and you’ll see a signpost pointing to WILLIAMSTOWN (South) on County Road 19.
This is where you will turn LEFT (South), since the 19 T’s at the 18.
Travel 1.4 kilometers (0.9 miles) on the 19 until you see Maple Road on your left hand Side (East). Maple Road doesn’t look like much more than a lane, so keep your eyes peeled.
As a landmark, you’ll see a white square bungalow with a wrap-around balcony and a green roof. This bungalow is set on a hill, on Maple Road corner of the 19.
Turn LEFT onto Maple Road (East) and travel 1.2 Kilometers (0.7 miles), where you will now see our property on your Left hand Side (North).
IF YOU’RE COMING FROM OTTAWA ON THE 417:
Take the 417 East towards Casselman. After quite a few Kilometers (miles) from Casselman, look for the exit for the 138 towards Cornwall (South).
Follow the 138 all the way to St Andrews, where there will be an intersection with stoplights and a magnificent Church. Turn LEFT (East) at the intersection. This will put you on County Road 18, which brings you towards St Raphael’s Ruins.
County Road 18 will bring you through the village of Martintown, where you will cross a little bridge. Do not veer to your left at the bridge. Keep going straight (sort of to your right).
You will see County Road 27 on your Right Hand Side (South). The next County Road (which is a few kilometers - a couple of miles) will be on County Road 19, also on your Right Hand Side (South).
There will be a sign on the corner of County Roads 18 and the 19 that says St Raphael’s ahead, Williamstown to the RIGHT.
This is where you will turn Right (South), since the 19 T’s at the 18.
