PADDOCK FACILITIES AND HORSE SERVICES:

With every campsite comes a 24’x12’ secure paddock (10 in all) able to comfortably accommodate 2 horses (three compatible horses can fit). The paddocks are built with a sun/weather shelter,

For reasons of equine health, you need to bring your own feed and water buckets.

We also have two 12'x12' paddocks for horse owners who want their horses to be paddocked individually. These paddocks are also built with a sun/weather shelter.

All paddocks are located in one general area, but are separated from each other (approximately 8 feet) for health and safety concerns.

Also, for safety considerations, and to enable horse owners to see their horses in the darkness of night, the paddock area is somewhat illuminated by a non-invasive sodium lamp located at the shower and service area.

Horse owners are responsible for mucking-out their own paddocks each day. And upon checkout, each owner should make certain that the paddock they used is totally clean for the next horse(s).

To make the disposal of your horse's manure easy, Maple Ponds Equestrian Center removes mucked-out manure (daily) from the side of each paddock.

It is very important to know that your horses will never be unattended. So, if you decide to leave for a few hours to shop or dine, there will always be someone on-property to keep an eye on the horses.

Also: The only people who will be on-property are Horse Campers, Day Riders, our staff, and/or invited guests.

The security and well-being of your horses are as important to us, as they are important to you.
